Differentiated Curriculum Planning is a 12-week course designed to help educators
create effective differentiated curriculum plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
The course starts with key questions related to their own role as a teacher/curriculum planner and
leads to understanding the needs of individual learners. Participants will explore the principles and
practices of differentiated instruction and gain a deeper understanding of the diverse learning needs,
interests, and abilities of their students. The course will provide strategies like design thinking, visual
thinking and tools for identifying individual learner needs and adapting instruction to better support
student success. including online discussions, reflective writing, and case studies that explore
real-world scenarios. Participants will also have access to the learning material which will provide
guidance and support as they develop their curriculum plans.
By the end of the course, participants will have developed a comprehensive differentiated curriculum
plan for a unit of study in their subject area and gained a deeper understanding of the importance of
creating inclusive learning environments.
